Grace Shaffer, Elaine Seibert State Track Preview

The Cody Fillies indoor track team will be participating in their State Championship meet this Saturday in Gillette. All eyes will be on the Fillies relay teams this weekend. Last year the Fillies set the record in the 1600 Spring Medley Relay at 4:16.66 and while Cody won’t field a team in that event this year look for the other relay teams to add to the record books. With 12 Fillies qualifying for state, today, a look at a pair of Filly, veterans Grace Shaffer and Elaine Seibert, who will be called upon to help lead this team to victory. According to Shaffer one reason the Fillies squad is set up well for success is a little tweak they made to the relay order, earlier this season. Grace’s full interview below.
