Written by on September 12, 2019

The Park County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who stole from a local gravel yard.

On August 30th, the Sheriff’s Office received a report that someone was stealing gravel from Big Horn Redi Mix’s gravel yard just north of the corner of Lane 20 and Road 20. Multiple eye witnesses reported they saw a blue tractor in the area at the time of the theft. One witness told the investigating deputy the tractor followed the railroad tracks to County Road 2AB.

Law Enforcement is asking for the public’s assistance in locating any blue tractor in the area of the gravel pit and adjoining neighborhoods similar to the one in the photo that can be found on their Facebook page, and which can also be found on mybighornbasin.com under the tab “Local News.”

Tips can be directed to the Park County Sheriff’s Office at 307-527-8700 or 307-754-8700, or can be sent via private message through their Facebook page. Any and all information will remain strictly confidential.
