Mountain Spirit Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and staff welcomed their new Executive Director this month.
Nikki Hoellwarth succeeds former Executive Director Jaime Schmeiser, who left the organization earlier this year for personal and family reasons. Hoellwarth, who was formerly the executive director for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Park County, says she’s excited to lead Habitat’s efforts in providing decent and affordable housing to the residents of Park County.
Mountain Spirit Habitat for Humanity operates the ReStore and Shop On Bent retail facilities in Powell, as well as coordinating the volunteer efforts of individuals, churches, businesses and organizations which contribute to building and restoring homes for qualifying families in Park County.
Hoellwarth has a background in Business Administration and non-profit leadership. She also currently serves on the Park County Poverty Alleviation Coalition and the Park County Health Coalition.
