Heritage Considering Greybull Clinic

Written by on October 12, 2018

Heritage Health Center may soon have a satellite clinic in Greybull.
According to an article in the Greybull Standard, a representative from the medical center in Powell spoke to the town Council Monday about plans to open a clinic there sometime in the spring. CEO Collette Mild said that she and Mayor Myles Foley have been discussing the option for several months, noting that there are employees at the Powell location that have ties to Greybull.
The clinic would be located in a conference room at the Historic Hotel Greybull, which is owned by Foley. Grant money would fund the opening, according to Mild, and the clinic would offer primary care such as prevention and wellness exams, sports physicals, DOT exams, chronic disease management and HIV/STD Testing, as well as behavioral care. And a sliding fee scale would also be an option in some cases.
Mild said that before the process got too far along, she wanted to make sure that the idea was supported by other members of the town council, adding that they hope to open the Greybull location by March of next year.
