Written by on February 21, 2023

The Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital will only be open for emergency care throughout this week’s storm while its regional clinics will be completely closed.

Winter is hitting Thermopolis and all of Hot Springs County hard. After getting ten inches of snow during the Valentine’s Day storm, the National Weather Service anticipates another ten inches of snow in Hot Springs County during this week’s storm.

Due to the extreme weather forecast, Hot Springs Health is making some temporary changes for the safety of patients and staff. Because of this, some services at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital and its Clinics will be changed or completely unavailable.
