Written by Cole Havens on October 6, 2021
Former Cody Bronc Football Quarterback Hunter Hays made his first collegiate start last weekend for the Idaho State Bengals in replacement of injured starter Tyler Vanderwal.
Hays would finish the game 19-39 passing for 208 yards. He threw one touchdonw and three intecpecptions. He aslo ran for 21 yards.
That performance garnered him player of the game against Northern Arizona.
Hunter showed growing pains, he’s only a freshman, but also displayed plenty of promise, like the pose he showed on his TD pass, a swing route to the running back.
