Lady Warriors Go 2-1 At The Big Horn Basin Classic

The Annual Big Horn Basin Classic was at home in Worland for the Girls this season.
Burlington, Greybull, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Riverside, Rocky Mountain, Thermopolis, Wind River, Wyoming Indian, and Worland were at the tournament.
Glenrock was invited but due to weather and road closures were not able to attend.
The Lady Warriors went into the weekend at home for the Big Horn Basin Classic 0-7, looking for their first win.
Facing 2A Wind River who was 2-6 coming into the match-up.
Worland would get the 57-46 win over the Lady Cougars.
Later that evening the Lady Warriors would battle the defending 2A State Champion and number 2 ranked Rocky Mountain Lady Griz.
Worland would hold Rocky Mountain’s leading scorer to 5 and get a 36-31 win.
Saturday the Lady Warriors would go against Lovell with a chance at the Big Horn Classic Championship.
Lovell would get the 45-25 win over the Lady Warriors but Worland would go 2-1 for the tournament.
The Lady Bulldogs won the Tournament with a 44-24 win over Powell.
