Written by on February 22, 2022

The Worland Lady Warriors played 3 games last week.

Two games against ranked teams and an opportunity to play for the number one seed.

Tuesday the Lady Warriors played the Buffalo Lady Bison coming off a 4 game winning streak.

In a non-conference game the Lady Warriors lost 63-44.

Friday night would be a game that could give the Lady Warriors the top seed going into the Regional Tournament in Powell.

The Lander Lady Tigers moved up the rankings since the last meeting between the two teams. Lander was now ranked 3rd in Wyoming 3A Girls Basketball.

Lander would get a 55-33 win over the Lady Warriors.

Worland is the number 2 seed headed to Powell.

Saturday morning Worland would host the Lady Eagles from Lyman ranked 5th in 3A basketball.

Unfortunately Lyman would hand the Lady Warriors their 3rd loss of the week.

A 51-40 loss would put the Lady Warriors record at 9-11 overall and 3-3 in conference.

The Lady Warriors will play Kemmerer Friday for the last game of the regular season.

It will be Senior Night for the last home game of the season.
