Lady Warriors Sweep Powell Saturday

The Lady Warriors beat the Powell Lady Panthers for the first time this season.
It came during Conference play putting the Lady Warriors at 2-0 after their win over Lovell two days before.
The Lady Warriors lost to Powell 21-12 and 21-16 at the Riverton McDonald’s Invitational. The first tournament of the season.
The next time Worland would play Powell was at the Rawlins’s Invitational in the Championship of the Silver Bracket.
Powell would win 21-19 and 21-17.
Worland had not beaten Powell in a single set all season, until Saturday.
The first home game of the season.
25-21, 25-11, and 25-22. The Lady Warriors would sweep Powell in three straight sets.
Worland will host Lander on Thursday and travel to Casper for a mid-season tournament.
