Lady Warriors Win 10-1 In Pinedale

The Lady Warriors are 7-6 overall 6-5 in Conference and have locked down the 4 seed in Wyoming 3A Girl’s soccer West Conference.

With a 10-1 win over Pinedale on Saturday the Lady Warriors punched their ticket to the State Championships in Cheyenne the 19th-21st of May.

The matched started quickly for the Lady Warriors with 3 goals scored in the first 9 and a half minutes.

Sophomores Rivers Carrell with the score from Nayelli Aquayo at the 37:40 mark.

Senior Captain Carley Yule hit from 25 out to score the 2nd goal with 34:23 remaining in the 1st half.

Rivers would add her 2nd score at 31:31 where the Lady Warriors would take a 3-0 lead over the Lady Wranglers.

Just over 10 minutes later Rivers would get her “Hat-Trick” with her 3rd score at 21:13.

With just 6:30 left in the 1st half Senior Captain Morgan Wagner would hit her 1st goal of the match from a Rivers assist.

Worland would end the 1st half up 5-0 over Pinedale.

Wagner would start the 2nd half the same way she ended the 1st half, with a goal at 35:58 from an assist off of the toe of Junior Peyton Erlenbaugh.

Carley Yule would add her 2nd unassisted goal at 30:56 and put the Lady Warriors up 7-0.

Pinedale would get their loan score of the match at the 27:49 mark off a corner kick header from Freshman Samantha Brannan.

24:58 remaining would see the Lady Warriors go up 8-1 with a goal from Nayelli Aguayo from a Erlenbaugh assist, her 2nd of the match.

Sophomore Forward Kinlynn Brown would score her 1st goal of the season in a Varsity match at 17:21, Carly Venable with the assist.

With 3:24 remaining in the match Wagner would score the final goal and gain her first career “Hat-Trick”

Wagner with 3 goals, Rivers with 3 goals, Yule with 2 goals, Aguayo with a goal, and Brown with a goal.

Erlenbaugh had 3 asssists, Venable, Rivers, and Aguayo all with assists.

Keeper MacKenzie Ray  with 3 saves.

Worland had 13 shots on goal.

The Lady Warriors with the 10-1 win get themselves over .500 as they get ready to play Powell and Cody this coming week.
