Mayor Promotes Arts Task Force

Art in Cody will be more visible to the public, if a local group has any say in it.
The Cody Country Art League is taking up the duty of spearheading a Public Arts Task Force. Graham Jackson, who is on the board for the Art League, says the task force was the brainchild of Mayor Matt Hall.

Mayor Hall says that one of the places that has been under-utilized in Cody’s downtown area is Bell Plaza. He says that he has a vision of how the empty lot downtown could become more of a hub of activity.

Jackson says that during the art walk on September 20th, members of the task force will be soliciting opinions and ideas from the public for ways in which the Plaza can be better utilized by the community.
