Wyoming Football may have a season after all. CBSSports announced Tuesday that the Mountain West Conference is considering a return to the football field.
The plan would be to have Mountain West School’s play an eight-game, conference only schedule beginning October 24th. The Conference Championship would then be played December 19th.
However, none of this happens if COVID-19 testing protocols aren’t in place.
The league’s presidents will meet Friday.
Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel first reported Monday that Mountain West officials are “optimistic” about a return to play.
