Natrona County Sheriff’s Office Searching for Double Homicide Suspect

An armed and dangerous man is wanted in connection with a double homicide in Natrona County, and the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office has shut down a section of highway as they search for the suspect.
On Tuesday evening, the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office informed the public they were looking for a man suspected of committing a double homicide. As of Wednesday morning, there are no additional details on the homicides or where they took place.
The person of interest is 26-year-old Luke Thomas Young, a man with several prior offenses and outstanding warrants. Authorities believe he is “armed and dangerous.”
Young was last seen in the area of Ten Mile Road and U.S. Highway 20-26 west of Casper.
U.S. Highway 20-26 is closed from Zero Road to Thirty Three Mile Road as law enforcement officers search for Young. Travelers are advised to use the detour route from Ten Mile Road to Zero Road.
Anyone who thinks they’ve spotted Young is urged not to approach him.
Furthermore, residents are asked not to pick up any hitchhikers. The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office believes Young is traveling on foot.
If Young is spotted, immediately CALL 9-1-1.
Luke Thomas Young is described as a white male with short brown/sandy hair, no facial hair, approximately 5’9″ tall, and weighing 195 lbs.
