‘Not Close’ to Mask Mandate in Park County
Written by dariandudrick on July 29, 2021
Despite what’s happening in some parts of the U.S. with an uptick in COVID-19 cases, returning to a face mask mandate in Park County isn’t on the table right now.
“We’re definitely not there yet. We’re probably not even close to it,” Park County health officer Dr. Aaron Billin said Thursday morning on KODI’s “Speak Your Piece with Darian Dudrick.”
Billin and nursing manager Bill Crampton of Park County Public Health provided a COVID-19 and vaccine update.
Crampton said more than 60 percent of Park County is unvaccinated.
Other COVID topics covered during the show included the Delta variant, along with concerns and the effectiveness of the vaccine.
