Pair of NWC Volleyball Players Extend Careers

Last week, it was announced that Northwest College Volleyball players, Paige Weimer and Emily Baumstarck will continue their volleyball careers.
Weimer has signed with the University of Ottawa in Arizona. Baumstarck has signed with the University of Mary.
According to the Northwest College Athletics Page “”We will definitely have some big shoes to fill with Paige leaving, but we are excited for her next opportunity and we are proud of how she will represent Northwest College,” head coach Scott Keister said.
In regards to Baumstarck, Trapper Volleyball issued a statement via social media “They are getting a great teammate and athlete! So excited to see what you can do on your next adventure. “
Weimer is the Trappers All-Time leader in digs. She had 923 in her two years as a libero for Northwest.
Baumstarck saw a huge jump from year one to year two and finished her sophomore year third on the team in total blocks, with 55.
