Park County Emergency Siren Testing on February 14th
Written by Andrew-Rossi on February 6, 2020
You might want to shout your love from the mountaintops this Valentine’s Day, but you’ll have a hard time doing it this year.
This Valentine’s Day is going to be a little louder than normal. Park County Homeland Security Director Jack Tatum says that the emergency sirens in the City of Cody will be tested on Friday, February 14th at 12:00 PM. This is another routine test of the system’s effectiveness and to ensure they are working in the event of a real community emergency.
Tatum says there will be two alerts as they test both the primary and secondary activation systems. Anyone with questions is advised to contact the Park County Office of Homeland Security at 307-527-1860.
