The Park County Fair this year will feature Wyoming-grown entertainment.
This year’s headliner will be Ned LeDoux, son of legendary cowboy musician Chris LeDoux, and a native of Kaycee, Wyoming. Opening for LeDoux will be Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band, another Wyoming act.
The Powell Tribune reports that the bands will play on the Thursday of Fair Week, July 25th. The fair itself will open Tuesday, July 23rd, and will run through the 27th.
Besides the headlining bands, spectators will be offered pig mud wrestling, a ranch rodeo with mutton busting, the Knights of Valour jousting show, and the ever-popular demolition derby. Tickets go on sale for all the attractions on June 1st.
Carnival Midway Attractions will return to provide rides and other amusements, and various free acts will also be on hand throughout the week.
The Tribune notes that the theme for the 2019 Park County Fair is “More than you imagined.”
