Partyline Thursday Music Spotlight: Kalyn Beasley

This Thursday Music Spotlight on KODI’s “Partyline” featured singer/songwriter Kalyn Beasley, who was born and raised in Cody Wyoming.
Beasley, in his 100th anniversary Cody rodeo jacket and cowboy hat, filled the studio with wonderful music that he described as Americana.
Beasley said that moving to Austin Texas for a few years got him writing more about Wyoming and the cowboy state until he moved back to Cody.
Growing up, Beasley listened to a bit of everything with 90’s country, Elton John, and classic rock all being main inspirations in his journey of being an artist. Him being in a musical family had an impact on him as well.

He is currently organizing and will be performing at the upcoming Yellowstone Songwriters Festival. The festival will be in Cody around mid September.
