The Cody Cubs played host to the Billings Blue Jays for a 9-inning bout, Tuesday night, and came away with a 20-0 victory.
Jackson Schroeder took to the hill for the Cubs and tossed 6 innings of 1 hit ball while striking out 11. His 4th win of the season. At one point Schroeder had struck out 8 straight.
The Cubs got on the board early and often. After scoring 8 runs in the first 3 innings, Cody put together a monstrous 4th which was highlighted by a Dominic Phillips Grand Slam. The teams first of the season.
Ben Reinker and Trey Schroeder added 3 hits each and would combine for 7 RBI. Trey collected an RBI in three straight at bats.
Every starter for the Cubs would either have an RBI or Run scored in the contest. Cody clobbered 13 hits in the game.
With the win, the Cubs are now 15-7 on the season.
Up Next: Cody plays host to the Sheridan Troopers Wednesday for a double header with all the action underway at 5pm.
