Powell’s Nate Johnston, Conference’s ‘Athlete of the Meet’

In some more High School sports over the weekend. again, the 3a North Conference Swim meet took place last Friday and Saturday with Buffalo winning the meet. The Powell panthers would come in second and featured plenty of top placers.
Powell’s Nate Johnston would win both the IM and the Breaststroke. The times in those races are believed to be new conference records that have stood since 1993. Johnston was also named Athlete of the Meet.
Johnston would also help Powell’s 200 medley and 400 free relay teams take 2nd.

The 3A State Swim meet is scheduled for February 17th and 18th in Gillette.
