Red Lodge Mountain Extends Season
Written by Andrew-Rossi on March 14, 2017
Thanks to favorable snow conditions this year, Red Lodge Mountain will be extending its current ski season for an additional 2 weeks.
Officials at the ski resort say their closing day is now set for Sunday, April 16.
March and April are often the snowiest months of the season at Red Lodge Mountain, so officials are hopeful the extended season will allow skiers the opportunity to enjoy the anticipated late season snow. Additionally, this extended season also allows the mountain to remain open during Easter, which has proven to be a popular weekend for skiers within the region to visit.
The ability to remain open will ultimately depend on weather and snow conditions, but the ski area is prepared to operate with limited terrain if the conditions dictate.
