Sheridan Snaps Cody’s Six Game Winning Streak
Written by Cole Havens on June 3, 2021
The Cody Cubs returned to action on Wednesday as they played host to the Sheridan Troopers.
In game 1 of the evening the Troopers would do most of their damage in the final three innings putting up 14 runs in that span en route to an 18-5 shellacking of Cody.
In Game 2, the Cubs got off to a better start and had the lead following a Tristan Blatt Home Run in the bottom of the third, up 4-3 but Sheridan’s offense was to much to overcome on the night as the Cubs fell in game 2, 14-4.
Mistakes would doom the Cubs Wednesday night as they committed more than 13 errors on the evening.
With the losses, Cody now falls to 12-5 on the season.
