State Cross Country In Ethete

The Worland High School Cross Country team were in Ethete this weekend to compete at the Wyoming 3A State Championships.

Worland would finish with 2 All-State runners in Junior Jack Bishop finishing 6th for the boys and Freshman Zena Tapia finishing 8th for the girls.

The Worland Boy’s team finished 5th overall.

Jack Bishop 6th, Melvin Croft 28th, Jackson Wassum 31st, Will Bishop 34th, Jason Holiday 40th, Kiyoshi Smith 42nd, and Trajn Swalstad 50th.

Mountain View won the boys overall with the top two runners from Mountain View. Owen Burnett and Tanner Erickson.

Boy’s State Results

The Lady Warriors finished 8th overall.

Zena Tapia 8th, Carly Venable 22nd, Isaira Matamoros 50th, Keira Woffinden 52nd, Sarai Matamoros 80th, and Jaden Earl 87th.

Cody won the girls overall with Cody’s Ava Stafford winning the race.
