Being a farmer or a ranch hand has its pros and cons, but the weather is one that constantly fluctuates back and forth. Sometimes it can be helpful, and sometimes it can make life hard.
In this video apart of the “Our Wyoming Life” series, they talk about how to prepare for weather during calving season.
At some point, their isn’t much you can do other than brace yourself and be prepared for Wyoming’s wrath to unleash on you and your land.
Even after this man in North East Wyoming doesn’t get the snow that he thought may be possible, he still goes on to teach about the transition to Spring and what to do with hay and how to prepare for the rest of calving season.
