SYP: Lisa Peterman, executive director of Crisis Intervention Services

Lisa Peterman, executive director of Crisis Intervention Services, spoke about how they have moved into a temporary place in the old Marathon building and will be there for a number of months as they move forward with their project that will allow them to have more services.  Lisa is optimistic and says it’s through grant writing and private donations that they are able to renovate their current facility at 1220 13th Street in Cody.  Lisa also spoke about how their services have seen an increase in demand since COVID hit in 2020.  Lisa says they are turning away two to three families each month because they just don’t have the room to service them.
