Three Candidates Drop Out

Several people who had expressed their intent to run for offices in Cody have changed their minds.
The Cody Enterprise reports that a candidate who was running for both City Council and the School Board has withdrawn from both races. With Robin Berry dropping out of the race, Heidi Rasmussen is now running unopposed for Cody’s Ward 2 spot on the City Council.
Additionally, Berry was one of three candidates who had filed to fill the unexpired term of Rebecca George for the board of Park County School District 6. Now the race is between Alison Winkler and Nicole Tisthammer.
And two others who were running for seats on the school board have also taken themselves out of the running. Heather Green and Stephanie Liebert have withdrawn their names from the field of candidates going for the remaining three seats on the school board, leaving eleven people for residents to choose from for those positions.
