Tiny House to Tour Wyoming

The Wyoming Office of Tourism is looking for an adventurer who’s ready to leave his or her regular life behind for six weeks to explore Wyoming’s epic landscapes as part of an experiential promotion this summer they titled “Call of the WY,” as in Wyoming.

Through the “Call of the WY” promotion, Wyoming and its diverse landscapes, activities and colorful characters will be highlighted through the eyes of the selected adventurer as he or she road trips around the state in a 200-square-foot tiny house.

At yesterday’s Park County Travel Council meeting, executive director Claudia Wade explained that this is purely a social media campaign – no cameras or celebrities involved, just regular people who are willing to live for six weeks in a tiny house under Wyoming’s big skies.

Wade says that the adventurers and their tiny house will make a stop in Cody during its busiest time – 4^th of July weekend.

A casting call will invite interested adventurers to apply at HGTV.com/CallOfTheWY, where they will be asked to tell about themselves and share why they’d like to spend six weeks exploring the state’s wide-open spaces.
