Type “O” Donors Sought

There’s a crisis looming for anyone who may need blood for medical emergencies.
Joshua Randall, a representative of Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services), says that there’s a critical need right now for type “O” blood.
A blood drive will be held next Monday and Tuesday at the Cody VFW. Eligible residents are urged to donate any type of blood. In particular, Randall says that younger donors are asked to consider participating.
Vitalant will be at the Cody VFW from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30. Walk ins are welcome.
