Vandalism Closes Public Restrooms

Written by on August 4, 2017

Vandalism at city parks in Cody are causing City staff to close some public restrooms.
According to the Cody Police Department, on several occasions between May 30th and July 30th, heavy damage has been caused to the inside of the public restrooms at Mentock and Glendale Parks. The Department points out that the vandalism appears to be intentional, and the repair work will cost hundreds of dollars. Because of this, several of the restrooms have been closed and locked until the damage can be repaired.
Anyone with information on the vandalism is encouraged to contact Sgt. Beau Egger at 307-527-8700, or leave an anonymous tip on the City’s Crime Tips webpage.
