Walk Across Wyoming is Halfway There
Written by Andrew-Rossi on September 8, 2017
The Walk Across Wyoming is halfway through to its destination.
Dr. Terresa Humphries-Wadsworth of Cody is leaving Casper this morning, the halfway mark on her walk across the state to raise awareness for suicide prevention. Along the way, she’s been met by friends and strangers who have either walked with her or offered support. Wadsworth says the response in the towns she has traveled through has been amazing – and volunteers in Casper are meeting her this morning to show their support for her mission.
Wadsworth says she’s suffered through some discomfort with a slightly sore ankle, but has been assisted by Powell resident Kelly Eckerdt, who is driving a side by side vehicle as support for Wadsworth as she walks.
Wadsworth is expecting to reach Cheyenne a week from today. She and Eckerdt encourage everyone to follow their journey on their Facebook page, WalkAcrossWY.
