Warrior Boy’s Soccer 12-0 After the Weekend

The Worland Warrior Boy’s Soccer team is 12-0 this season with wins over Lander on Friday and Pinedale on Saturday.
Worland traveled to Lander Friday, which would also be the last day of school for the Seniors.
Lander was 6-5 on the season and ranked number 3 in Wyoming 3A Boy’s Soccer by WyoPrep’s Coaches and Media pole.
Worland would get the win in Lander 5-1.
Court Gonzalez had 2 goals in the game. Cole Venable, Yahir Rodriquez and Carter Clark also scored in Lander.
Assists came from. Mack Page, Kolter Wyman, Carter Clark and 2 from Cole Venable.
Saturday was a chilly, windy game against Pinedale at home in Worland.
The Warriors would get the 7-0 win over the Wranglers.
Senior Captain Rudy Sanford had 2 goals and 3 assists. Court Gonzalez with 2 goals. Cole Venable with 2 goals. Dawson Rogers would score with the assist from Jackson Wassum. Senior Yahir Rodriquez also had an assist.
Kade Weber was named Wyoming’s United Soccer Coaches/Max Prep Player of the week for April 26th – May 2nd. Kade has 56 saves this season and has allowed only 3 goals all season long.
The Warriors will have their final home game Friday against the number 2 ranked 12-1 Powell Panthers . The only loss on the season for the Panthers was against Worland earlier this season.
There will be a tailgate party with proceeds going to the WHS Sideliners Booster Club. It will also be Senior Night with a ceremony between the Girl’s game and the Boy’s game.
Saturday the Warriors head to Cody to finish the regular season against the number 5 ranked Cody Broncs. Cody is 8-5 this season.
