Warriors Cross Country Win East Regionals

Worland High School Cross Country was in Torrington Thursday for the Wyoming 3A East Reginal Championships.
The Boys finished 1st and would be the Wyoming 3A Regional Champions.
Senior Jack Bishop won the race with an amazing time of 17:01.4 nearly 15 seconds faster than the 2nd place finisher.
Sophomores Trajn Swalstad and Will Bishop finished 3rd and 4th in the race.
All seven of the Warrior runners finished in the top 20.
Sophomore Scottie Thomas 9th, Senior Melvin Croft 10th, Senior Harley Redding 11th, and Sophomore Kiyoshi Smith 20th.
Five Warrior Harriers earn All-Conference Honors.
Jack Bishop, Trajn Swalstad, Will Bishop, Scottie Thomas, and Melvin Croft.
Boy’s results from East Regionals
The Lady Warrior Cross Country Team won 3rd Place at the Wyoming 3A East Regionals.
Sophomore Zena Tapia finished 2nd with a 20:13.1 behind Rawlins winner Ryann Smith who ran a 19:26.7.
Junior Nyssa Leyva won 8th, and Senior Isaira Matamoros won 9th.
Sophomore Keira Woffinden 19th, Senior Sarai Matamoros 33rd, and Senior Carly Venable 38th.
Three Lady Warrior Runners earn All-Conference Honors.
Zena Tapia, Nyssa Leyva, and Isaira Matamoros.
