Wells Fargo Albertsons Branch Closing

Wells Fargo customers in Cody will soon have to limit their banking options to the main office on Sheridan Avenue.
A flyer displayed at the Albertson’s branch notes that the office there will be closing as of September 12th.
Julie Fogerson, a representative from the Wells Fargo Midwest office in Boise, Idaho, says that the decision to close the Albertson’s branch was not easy, and the company does not take it lightly. She says that the company continually evaluates their branch network, and makes adjustments based on customer use, market factors, economic trends and competitor actions. She adds that an increase in online banking has also influenced the decision to close the Albertson’s branch.
The Wells Fargo branch that was located at Walmart closed in 2011.
