Worland Golf Finish 3rd In Cody

The Worland High School Golf team were in Cody Friday.
With high winds, but a sunny day the Warriors would finish 3rd overall at the Cody Invite at the Olive Glenn Golf Course.
Senior Karsten Simmons shot a 71 for the day.
Cody’s Hunter Hall also shot a 71 at his home course resulting in a one hole playoff.
For the Warriors unfortunately Hall would win the playoff.
Cody would win the home tournament with a score of 341.
Thermopolis finished 2nd with a 352 lead by a 75 from Hardy Johnson.
The Warriors would have 8 golfers for the boy’s collecting the top 5 for a team score of 376.

For the Girl’s Lovell’s Ericka Cook shot a 77 leading Lovell to the win.

The Worland High School Golf team will finish the Spring season in Lander.
The Lander Invite will be at the Lander Country Club.
Teams scheduled to compete: Cody, Green River, Jackson, Lander, Lovell, Lyman, Pinedale, Rawlins, Riverton, and Worland.
