Worland Win Gets Votes In Final Football Poll

The final regular season game of 2022 would end in a Warrior win over Riverton 42-21.
The Warriors finish the regular season 4-4 overall and 2-3 in Conference.
With the win, the Warriors would get votes in the WyoPreps.com Final Coaches and Media Poll for the first time in 3 weeks.
Cody would finish undefeated and go wire to wire as the State 3A number 1 ranked team.
Star Valley would land at the number 2 spot with a single vote, all be it the entire season, for number 1.
Douglas would end the season with the highest-ranked East team at number 3.
Buffalo is at number 4 from the East, and Jackson would get back into the top 5 in the final week.
Lander got 9 votes for 5th with Worland getting 2 votes for the 5th spot as well.

Worland will face the Cody Broncs in Cody for the opening round of the playoffs for the 4th season in a row.
