YRA Has Big Plans for 2019

It was a good year for Yellowstone Regional Airport – with more good to come.
That’s according to YRA manager Bob Hooper. Hooper told KODI yesterday that the number of people who came through the Cody airport in 2018 made it the third-busiest year on record.
Additionally, the Airport board announced this week that they are going to be increasing the number of commercial airline flights planned for the upcoming summer tourism season. Hooper says that they are planning to offer 38 weekly flights from the airport in Cody to Denver, Chicago, and Salt Lake City. Hooper says this is the largest amount of airline service Yellowstone Regional Airport has ever experienced.
Hooper credits the airport board and local air service group CY AIR for their work with airline partners to make this additional air service a reality.
Hooper adds that Yellowstone Regional is the third busiest airport in Wyoming, with record growth the past several years.
