Zero Adoptable Dogs in Shelter

The Park County animal shelter is such a wonderful place in the community that has strived to help animals find homes right here in the Bighorn Basin and they have done just that.

The Animal shelter recently posted on Facebook that for the first time in a while they have not one dog up for adoption. What an amazing accomplishment to get every furry friend a loving home.

I adopted my dog, Copper, from the animal shelter a little over a month ago and she has totally transformed my day-to-day life for the better. The shelter’s mission may be to find a home for every dog that enters their facility but in that goal, they also make humans happier too.

The shelter has a new and improved facility next door to the old location that is definitely worth a visit. The work they do for the community is extremely impactful and you can hear them on KTAG 97.9 every Friday morning around 8:30!
