Beartooth Highway Nightly Closures Begin This Week

The Beartooth Highway will be closed for construction beginning at 8 p.m. nightly Sunday through Friday mornings between Red Lodge and the Wyoming state line.
Riverside Contracting will be conducting rotomilling and paving operations for the next four weeks. The work will be taking place from the north gate, about 12 miles south of Red Lodge, to the Wyoming line. Closures will take place each night at 8 p.m. and the road will re-open at 8 a.m. the next morning.
During the construction, there will be a large increase in truck traffic on the West Fork of Rock Creek Road, Red Lodge Creek Road, and Highway 212.
