Officers from Several States & Counties Stop Park County Car Chase

Several Park County residents spotted a high-speed car chase involving several local law enforcement agencies chasing a vehicle from the South Fork to Powell.
Initial reports on Facebook say a “banged up” blue SUV was being pursued by at least three vehicles from the Cody Police Department around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The chase apparently began in the South Fork by Valley View. It continued thru Cody and onto Highway 14 towards Powell. Officers from the Wyoming Highway Patrol and Park County Sheriff’s Office joined the case.
It is believed that the chase stopped somewhere in the area of Powell and Ralston. The driver may have been apprehended.
Spike strips were deployed to stop the vehicle.
As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, no official reports are available.
