Charter and PC Cowboys Offering Free Internet in Cody

There are several opportunities for students to get internet access free of charge.
In light of the Cody School District’s closure until at least April 3rd, the school board is currently evaluating the option of moving into online classes in the near future. This might present a challenge for several families in town who have limited or no internet access at their homes. Thankfully, several businesses in Cody are ready to step up and provide for everyone and ensure Cody’s students get the education they need.
Charter is offering free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days free of charge to households with K-12 college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription. Even installation fees will be waived for new student households. Call 1-844-488-8395 to set up the installation.
According to a post on the Cody Classifieds Facebook page, PC Cowboys in Cody will be setting up free wifi for anyone that normally would go to a public place to use internet. Quote “we have great coverage and you can park and utilize it at our office any time day or night.”
