Written by Cole Havens on April 7, 2021
Now that Spring Break is over Cody High School sports are set to pick up right where they left off. Every Cody team will be in action this weekend. Today a look at when and where each team will be participating.
The Cody High School Track teams will be back in action tomorrow (Thursday) when they travel to Worland for the D & D Meet. On Saturday, Cody track will be taking part in the Powell Invite.
This will be just the second meet of the season for Cody track. In their home opener the Fillies would finish 4th with the Broncs 7th.
Both Cody Bronc and Filly soccer will be on the road this week at Pinedale on Friday and at Lander on Saturday.
Filly soccer, looking for their fourth straight state title, has started off the season winning their first two games. One of which was an 8-0 shutout over Powell.
The Broncs have started the season 1-1. After falling to rival Powell, the Broncs rebounded with a win vs. Riverton.
On Friday the girls get underway at 3pm with the boys to follow. On Saturday it’s the girls at 10am with the boys to follow.
And this weekend will mark the Cody Filly Softball team’s home opener. On Friday the Fillies host Green River at 3pm, on Saturday they welcome Rock Springs to town for a 10am contest.
The Fillies are looking to carry the momentum from their historic win two weeks ago into this weekends home contests.
As always, stay tuned to the Big Horn Radio Network for updates and results.
