Fee Free Weekend at National Parks

If you’re looking for adventure this weekend, consider heading to one of our local National Parks.
April 15th through the 23rd is National Park Week, and the Park Service is waiving fees at all National Parks for the weekends of April 15th and 16th and April 22nd and 23rd.
If you’re heading to Bighorn Lake, keep in mind that water levels continue to remain low to make room for expected spring runoff, and Horseshoe Bend ramp will be closed until the lake levels rise. Construction of the Ok-A-Beh dock system is scheduled to begin April 17th, dependent on lake levels.
Yellowstone National Park reports that bison calves are appearing, so wildlife enthusiasts have a lot to watch for. The north and northeast entrances to Yellowstone are open year round, and the roads from Mammoth to Old Faithful, Madison to the West Entrance, and Norris to Canyon will open on Friday, April 21st.
