Filly Cross Country 1st at State, Ava Stafford 1st Individually

The Cody Filly Cross Country team capped off a perfect season over the weekend finishing in 1st place as a team to capture the Class 3A State Championship.
Ava Stafford would finish in 1st place, individually with a time of 19:25, becoming the first ever Cody Filly Cross Country Champion.
That is now three years in a row the Filly Cross Country has won the State Title. The Fillies finished the season, winning every race they competed in.
Kinley Bollinger was the next fastest Filly, finishing with a time of 20:54 to take 11th place. Keira Jackson would finish in 13th with a time of 21:02.18 while Mekenzie Clark was 14th with a time of 21:02.59.
On the boys side, the Cody Bronc Cross Country team would perform admirably finishing in 4th place as a team.
David Juergens and Ben Stewart would lead the way for the Broncs finishing in 7th and 8th place with times of 17:15 and 17:22. Charlie Hulbert would finish in 16th with a time of 17:41.
