Governor’s Forum Thursday

All six of the Republican candidates for Governor will be in Cody on Thursday evening.
The Governors Forum, hosted by the Park County Republican Party, will be held in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West’s Coe Auditorium on Thursday evening, August 2nd, at 6:00 p.m.
Denise Shirley, who has been coordinating the event, says that she has received comments from concerned citizens about the small size of the Coe Auditorium, which only holds 160 people. But Shirley says that budget constraints limited the Party’s options for the location of the forum, adding that she has been assured that the venue should have enough seats for attendees.

To allow more people to participate in the event, however, the Big Horn Radio Network will be broadcasting the Governor’s Forum live on 1400 AM and 96.7 FM, and is also planning to live stream the broadcast on the internet. Shirley expressed her hope that the event will be well attended.

KODI’s Darian Dudrick will be the moderator for the event, which Party officials say will be Northern Wyoming’s first and only Governor’s forum.
