The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has conducted two relocations of grizzly bears in the northwest part of the state.
Game managers trapped and relocated an adult female grizzly and her two cubs last Thursday and then captured and relocated a sub-adult female grizzly bear on Friday. The agency says in both instances the bears were killing cattle on private lands in the Cody region.
In cooperation with the Bridger Teton National Forest, the grizzly bear family group was relocated to Snake River drainage northwest of Moran Junction and the sub-adult female was located to Blackrock drainage northeast of Moran Junction.
