Highway 14A Repairs Made
Written by Andrew-Rossi on April 18, 2017
Drivers on Hwy 14A this summer won’t have to deal anymore with the aftermath of an accident that occurred last year, which damaged a concrete barrier about 22 miles east of Lovell.
The accident happened the summer of 2016 between Lovell and Burgess Junction. The $64,000 project began last week. Linch Environmental Contractors will be removing and replacing 130 feet of concrete barrier at milepost 71 on Highway 14A, according to Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Michael Miller of Basin.
The project is taking place where the road is currently closed for the winter, and WYDOT hopes to be completed with the repairs before the road opens for the summer travel season prior to Memorial Day Weekend.
