Park County Courthouse Reopens with Restrictions
Written by Andrew-Rossi on May 4, 2020
As public health orders begin to loosen up the Park County Courthouse will be opening again.
Effective today, May 4th, at 8 am the Park County Courthouse will reopen to in-person transactions. But this doesn’t mean that its business as usual. A number of temporary restrictions are being enacted, which mainly control the flow of people moving in and out of the building.
Anyone with business at the courthouse is asked to enter through the east door of the courthouse addition (Door 1). From there, you will be asked what office you need to do business in and will then be directed from there. There will only be one-way foot traffic throughout the building to minimize any potential risks of infection. Guides will be available and signage will be posted. Everyone will exit out of the south door, at the end of the ramp hallway.
This will make several offices accessible, but not the entire complex. Access to the courthouse addition basement and Clerk of District Court is still restricted at this time.
