The Park County Sheriff’s Office has teamed with the Cody Firearms Experience to offer a four-hour seminar titled, “Refuse To Be A Victim.”

The Sheriff’s Office says this award-winning NRA program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim. These seminars are held across the nation and are open to men and women of all ages, and hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement officials from across the nation utilize this program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives. More than 100,000 people have benefited from these seminars.

The Cody seminar will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Cody Firearms Experience. The seminar is co-ed and there is no cost to attend. However, space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
