Scott’s Car Corner: The Safest and Most Dangerous Vehicles of 2020

When buying a new car, safety should be everyone’s number one concern.  Everything else is secondary if you don’t make it to your destination safe and sound.

I decided to take a look at some data on consumerreports.com which examines what were the safest and most unsafe cars in 2020.

The most unsafe vehicle type in 2020 were cars and the safest were pickup trucks.

The Ford Fiesta came in as the most dangerous car in 2020 followed by the Hyundai Accent and Chevy Sonic.

The safest car in 2020 was a tie between the GMC Yukon XL, Infinity QX60, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Lexus NX 200T, Mercedes Benz C-Class, Porsche Cayenne, and Volkswagen Golf.

All of those cars are pretty expensive, but I suppose being the safest vehicles to drive comes at a cost.
