Sleeping Giant, in a recent Facebook post, writes, “We are looking for motivated, organized, and responsible people who want to help us build Sleeping Giant into the leading recreation destination at the East Gate of Yellowstone. Please send resumes and cover letters to gm@skisg.com. We will reply to all applications and those that we think are a good fit will be invited for interviews.”

Established in 1936 in the Shoshone National Forest, the historic Sleeping Giant ski hill has been sustained largely through the efforts of the community of Cody. The Piazza family hopes to see Sleeping Giant become a hub for outdoor recreation for the East Gate of Yellowstone.

Sleeping Giant, nestled in the Absaroka Mountains near Yellowstone National Park, has the Shoshone River running right through its front yard. The ski hill not only attracts outdoor adventurers for its summer and winter activities, it’s also a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy the beauty of the Bighorn Basin.

Sleeping Giant is led by a group of locals and headquartered here in Cody, Wyoming. Community Mountain LLC currently operates Sleeping Giant Ski Area & Zipline and is partnering with many recreational groups in the area to further expand their mission and capabilities.
